The Fire Safety Order (2005)

The NEW EPIC Guide complements and significantly extends the general guidance notes that have been prepared by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) for 11 identified construction sectors.

The DCLG guides briefly identify ‘insulated core panels’ as a potential source of fuel. This EPIC Guide looks at the uses of Insulated Panels throughout construction according to their application and gives guidance on their likely performance in fire, based on extensive research into actual fires and large scale laboratory tests. The guide contains:
